Each side has been playing to several higher-scoring slug-fests of late, but I expect those trends to end tonight with Pivetta and Webb on the hill.
Pivetta is 2-2 with a 3.43 ERA and 0.95 WHIP, while Webb is 8-8 with a 4.10 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.

This is a 4% TOP TOTAL on the UNDER Saints/Lions.
All five of Saints' quarterback Tyler Shough's wins last season came against teams that had under .500 records (four of those five wins were victories against the likes of the Buccaneers, Panthers, Jets, and Titans.) They also lost to the Falcons (twice) and the Dolphins in their final seven weeks after the BYE.
The Lions' weakness was their defensive play last year, but that unit was overhauled and catches a big break in Week 1 in my opinion, as note that New Orleans still averaged under 20 points per game in the nine games Shough started last season (and additionally, an injury to WR Jordan Tyson already leaves the Saints offense undermanned).
I look for the Lions to control the tempo and pace and for the Saints' offense to stall; the play is on the UNDER.
