New England Patriots on the Moneyline.
New England has covered both preseason games thus far, and their depth is amazing. Their defense has look good, and when I tell you that they are backups are jockeying for better positions, watch out this team is loaded. Meanwhile, the Cleveland offense with all sincerity, is horrible. They have depth problems, quarterback issues, and I will say their defense already looks overworked and fatigued, yielding 65 points thus far this preseason. This game will get out of hand. Take the New England Patriots on the Moneyline. Thank you.
Buffalo Bills on the Moneyline.
One thing the Buffalo Bills like to do is go into the regular season with momentum. I’ve seen enough through their first two preseason games to know this team means business this season. After falling short yet again last season, I feel they want to go into the regular season with confidence, and give their loyal fan base, some real excitement. Meanwhile, we all know Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike McCarthy doesn’t put a lot of stock in preseason play. I also saw this team struggle last week against the New York Jets. Now putting stock into a previous game in August is always a little shaky. But I doubt very much on the road, Pittsburgh is going jeopardize any of their key players for too long. With the way, the Bills defense have been playing, even backups my friends, I feel Steelers quarterbacks, Allar and Howard who struggled last week, are in for a long night here. Take the Buffalo Bills.
Golden State Valkyries.
I feel this game should be closer to a Pick ‘em. Golden State has taken three straight meetings in this rivalry, both straight up and against the number, which includes wins and covers in both matchups this season. They enter this game red hot, winning eight of their last 10 outings and covering six of those 10 contests. Meanwhile, while New York won and covered their last outing, they are point spread poison, failing to cover seven of their last 10 games. As a matter of fact, they’ve only covered 14 of the 36 outings this season, while the visiting team here has covered 21 of their 37 games played. Golden State is also very good on the road, comes in here with momentum, and let’s not forget they possess the WNBA’s stingiest defense yielding a mere 76.0 PPG. Take the points with the Valkyries. New York Yankees.
The Yankees and Astros seem to be heading in opposite directions right now. Both are currently on the right side of the playoff picture. However, New York is just 3.5 games back of Tampa Bay in the American League East while Houston has a half-game cushion in the American League West. Just FYI, the Yankees are 75-57 while the Astros possess a losing record at 66-67. Going back a bit, the Yankees have taken six of the last 10 meetings in this AL rivalry and come into this game overall winning seven of their last nine outings. Meanwhile, the Astros are starting to crack, dropping seven of their last 10 contests. There is no question the home team possesses a better pitching staff and right now an offense that is starting to surge again. Speaking of pitching, you can expect Wesneski and Cole here as starters. The Houston right-hander owns some decent numbers. But owes his record to a team that has given him run support. In his five starts this season, he has yielded 13 earned runs. The New York right-hander has been sharp for basically the entire season. He has also not allowed a single opponent to put a better than three earned runs in his last nine outings, including a 4-1 mark over his last five turns, and at home in 2026, he has a record of 3-2 with a 3.19 ERA. This is the time of year you must go with a proven durable starter and Cole is it. Take the New York Yankees. Thank you.
