PICKS IN PROGRESS
Philadelphia at Cincinnati 1:10 ET
Reds over Phillies- Cincinnati has claimed four wins in six games against the Phillies heading into the clubs' last matchup of the regular season. Nick Martinez (0-0, 4.76 ERA) is leaving the bullpen and returning to the Cincinnati rotation. He will make his third start of the season on Thursday. Martinez takes the place of right-hander Frankie Montas, who was placed on the 15-day injured list with a bruised right forearm after being struck with a line drive 16 pitches into his Sunday start against the Los Angeles Angels. Martinez will be making his first career start against Philadelphia. The right-hander has been dominant in five career relief appearances vs. the Phillies, allowing just one run and four hits over 10 1/3 innings with no decisions. The Phillies will counter with right-hander Zack Wheeler (1-3, 2.30 ERA). Wheeler has 38 strikeouts and just seven walks over 31 1/3 innings this season. Wheeler is 1-2 with a 2.98 ERA in his seven career starts vs. the Reds. Take CINCINNATI!
Seattle at Texas 8:00 ET
Rangers over Mariners- On Thursday, Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo (1-4, 4.40 ERA), coming off his first victory on Saturday vs. Colorado is set to take the mound against Rangers lefty Andrew Heaney (0-2, 6.35). Castillo is 0-3 with a 4.91 ERA in three previous starts against Texas. Heaney is 4-7 with a 4.18 ERA in 20 appearances (18 starts) vs. Seattle. With the Mariners favored here the bent-nose guys like the visitor...take SEATTLE!
New York at Philadelphia 7:30 ET
Knicks (+) over 76ers- have you seen what I’ve seen? I don’t believe that the New York Knicks should be an underdog to anybody, anywhere, (maybe OKC) or anytime. Tibs has them playing the best of all and with the way Boston looked (vulnerable) and that can only help the Knicks mindset. It seems obvious to me that Embiid is not 100% although he is still the best Philadelphia has and they felt with him that they could be unbeatable...not! There is a karma teams acquire when together and in sync. Like Connecticut in the NCAA’s! Right now I will have to see them break down before I will be looking for it. The Sixers are a little bit too distracted by the attention being paid to referee's calls. Take NEW YORK!
Our Review of Sports Handicapper Chip Chirimbes
Chip Chirimbes is without question one of the world’s most recognized handicappers. He’s been doing this for about 40 years, hosting and producing TV and radio shows on sports betting. He has been an expert guest featured everywhere from CNN/SI to the New York Times to the CBS Evening News.
Okay, so Chip is a bit of a celebrity. But the real question is, can he help you win, or is he just a nice face who’s been around for a while?
Don’t let the fame fool you. Chip is as sharp a handicapper as he’s ever been, and he proved it in 2015 by being the #8 handicapper on the whole site. He went 757-675 in 2015, and while a 52% win rate may not seem impressive, he made over $2,000 in profit with his picks.
He also ranked #3 in 2013 for NFL capping, and #5 in 2013-2014 for NBA capping. And he’s at it again on his NFL picks, with a 63-41 streak dating back to October 2015.
So if you’re worried about Chip being past his prime, you can stop worrying. Chip has a current all sports streak of 882-776 going since April 2014. His $100 bettors have brought in over $4,000 on those picks.
It’s hard to believe, but the numbers add up. Chip Chirimbes has both a long-standing reputation and a current hot streak. It’s hard to find a weakness in what he does. Decades of experience, current success, and a lot of picks with good winning percentage. You’ll be hard-pressed to find that kind of combination with anyone else.
