#972 ASA PLAY ON Cincinnati Reds -170 over Cleveland, Monday at 7:10 PM ET - Both our MLB picks today involve rather pricey favorites but that is why we are keeping our ratings on the low side today with these picks. We do not want to risk the 1.5 runs on the run line and then regret it if our team wins by just one run. We love this big favorite in this spot. The Guardians were in a great spot to get their bats going yesterday as they faced a slumping Drew Rasmussen and yet Cleveland still could not get the job done at the plate and lost a 1-0 game. That is very telling about the current state of this Guardians lineup and they have now scored a total of only 4 runs in their 4 most recent games. Overall Cleveland has lost 5 straight and they face a Reds team that is rolling with confidence as they come back home off a successful road trip including winning 4 of their last 5. Now Cincinnati sends Chase Burns to the mound and he is 12-1 with a 2.42 ERA this season. As for the Guardians, they send Slade Cecconi to the mound here and he is 4-7 with his season with opponents also hitting .282 against him. Cecconi is having a very rough July also. Compare that to Burns who is 11-0 his last 11 decisions and continues to dominate. Guardians are 7 games under .500 against right-handers and Reds are 8 games over .500 in interleague match-ups. Cincy keeps Cleveland ice cold here!

#951 ASA PLAY ON Philadelphia Phillies -175 over Miami, Monday at 6:40 PM ET - Both our MLB picks today involve rather pricey favorites but that is why we are keeping our ratings on the low side today with these picks.  We do not want to risk the 1.5 runs on the run line and then regret it if our team wins by just one run.  We love this big favorite in this spot.  The Phillies got their bats going yesterday in a much-needed big win over the Yankees.  Now they send Zack Wheeler to the mound and he is 10-2 with a 2.16 ERA on the season.  The Marlins send Tyler Phillips to the mound here and he is 2-5 this season and having a tough time recently in working out of the rotation.  That included getting rocked by the Phillies for 8 runs in 4 innings last month.  The Phillies are 7 games over .500 on the road this season and also 28-18 this season when facing a team that currently has a losing record on the season.  The Marlins have lost 12 in a row including all 9 games since the All-Star break.  We lay the price with confidence here on the road team.

Danish Superliga - #202821/202822 ASA TOP PLAY ON Over 3 Goals (+108) – Silkeborg at Randers, Monday at 1 PM ET - The Danish Superliga is the highest level of the Danish football league system.  Their season just got underway over the weekend.  This the last of 6 opening week matches and we look for an opener here.  Both of these clubs closed last season on high-scoring runs to wrap up the season.  Additionally, in their summer friendly action leading into the new season we also have seen a lot of higher-scoring matches.  In fact, Randers has had 7 straight matches dating back to last season total at least 4 goals.  That includes all 5 of their friendlies this summer.  Also, they both scored and conceded in all 5 of those matches and in 4 of the 5 they both scored and conceded multiple goals in each!  Silkeborg has seen 6 of its last 7 matches (including friendlies) total at least 3 goals!  Also, they have scored 5 goals in their last two meetings with Randers and the way the hosts have been scoring goals like crazy we certainly look for them to match Silkeborg goal for goal in this one.  Certainly Randers is favored at home for good reason too.  This one has 2-2 (at least) written all over it!  Bet the OVER in Randers in Danish Superliga action early Monday afternoon.
