The Red Sox (76-65) enter this AL East clash firmly holding down a Wild Card position, continuing to build momentum on the road where they sport a strong 41-31 record. LHP Ranger Suarez (5-4, 3.64 ERA) gives Boston a stable veteran presence every time he toes the rubber, and he has a 8-5 team record with a 3.25 ERA in his road starts. 

The Orioles (69-72) hand the ball to RHP Shane Baz (5-14, 4.01 ERA), but team  have struggled to generate results behind him, as reflected in his heavy loss total on the season.

We really like the under in this matchup. Opening week non-conference tilts involving heavy favorites often start sluggishly as teams work through early-season execution issues. Oklahoma enters as a massive home favorite in Norman, but non-conference games at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium frequently turn into controlled, defensive affairs once the home team establishes a comfortable early lead.

We really like the under in this matchup. The Astros (72-69) have quietly been an under machine, posting a 3-5-2 over/under record in their last 10 games. That low-scoring pattern aligns well with the Diamondbacks (74-67), whose offense has stagnated down the stretch, averaging only 3.1 runs per nine innings over their past 10 contests.

Arizona hands the ball to RHP Merrill Kelly (9-12, 5.08 ERA), who comes in with momentum after delivering seven scoreless innings of two-hit ball in his last outing. Houston hands the ball to RHP Cristian Javier (1-5, 6.45 ERA), and while Javier's ERA looks rough on the surface, we know what kind of weapons he has in his arsenal.

David's 4% MLB *MAJOR WAGER RAGER*

We really like the road favorite in this matchup. The line appears to be highly influenced by Cincinnati winning four of Rhett Lowder's last five starts, but we think this is an overreaction. While Lowder (6-8, 5.14 ERA) has picked up a few decisions recently, his underlying numbers remain pedestrian.Milwaukee's high-powered lineup already torched him for six runs on 11 hits across 4.2 innings in a 7-2 victory at the end of June.

With the Brewers holding a commanding head-to-head advantage over Cincinnati this year, 6-1 record and outscoring them 28-17 across those seven meetings, they should have no problem covering the run line on the road.
